Dear Hunter-Tannersville Central School Community,
At our May 18th Board of Education meeting, the Board appointed ONC District Superintendent, Dr. Catherine Huber, to support our district with our search for our next Superintendent.
Community input into the search process is important to us. As such, Dr. Huber will visit HTC on May 30th to conduct internal stakeholder focus groups to discuss the characteristics our teachers, staff, administrators, and students are looking for in our next Superintendent. We will launch a ThoughtExchange on our website on June 1st to gather community input on the same question. From this feedback, we will develop our search brochure. The job will be posted on June 16th.
The Board will conduct a review of candidates and interviews during July. We anticipate that our new Superintendent will start at HTC on or before October 1st.
We will keep the community updated as we move through the search process.
