Dear Parent/Guardian:
Hunter- Tannersville students attending kindergarten this fall are invited to participate in the Transportation Department’s School Bus Safety event on August 20th, 2025, from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. STARTING in the Middle School/High School Parking Lot.
Then the bus will drive TO ELEMENTARY so children may experience the bus ride. (Parents are welcome to come on the bus! Siblings (over 5) are welcome to help ease nervous students.
Afterward the bus will bring all families and students back to High School
Hunter-Tannersville is willing to open this to ANY student who would like to reorient themselves to the bus, either as a refresher or new to our district.
Participants will ride a bus to the Elementary School Parking Lot and rotate through two 15-minute safety stations.
