The Hunter-Tannersville MIDDLE/HIGH School will be holding two (2) of our eight (8) evacuation (fire) drills two separate days next week (9/16-9/20/24).
Education Law 807 requires 12 emergency drills per school year:
a. 8 evacuation (fire) drills
b. 4 lock down drills
The 6th Grade Hike that was scheduled for October 10th has been rescheduled for October 9th.
Booster Club Meeting Update: The next Booster Club meeting will be held on Friday September 13th at the MSHS @ 3:00 p.m.

IN ORDER FOR YOUR CHILD TO BE CLEARED FOR FALL SPORTS, THEY WILL NEED TO BE APPROVED BY THE NURSE PRIOR TO PRACTICES ON 8/26. SHE WILL APPROVE EACH STUDENT THAT HAS COMPLETED FAMILY ID AND HAS A CURRENT SPORTS PHYSICAL. PLEASE MAKE SURE THE NURSE HAS A COPY OF YOUR MOST RECENT SPORTS PHYSICAL OR ATTACH A DIGITAL COPY ON FAMILY ID.

TRAP SHOOTING TEAM MEETING!
Hey Wildcats! Schooled In Hoops Basketball Camp returns to HTC tomorrow August 12th. See below for some important info from the camp director and as always you can reach out to the athletic office if you have questions.
We are excited to be back for our annual August basketball camp at Hunter Tannersville
Here are some things that you can do this week to prepare.
Label everything (water bottles, snack and lunch bags, basketballs).
Make sure your child has their medication if they need it. Ex. Inhalers, and Epi Pen
Camp hours are 9:00am - 2:30pm with drop off starting at 9:00am am and pickup ending at 2:30pm
Please drop off and pick up entering from the main gym entrance where the side doors are located. Staff will be outside greeting campers.
Please have your child bring snacks, lunch, and a ball from home (please write name on it). They are also encouraged to bring card games, books, coloring books or small toys to use during snack breaks or lunch.
We have a wonderful group this session and we are looking forward to sharing our knowledge of basketball with your child in a fun, safe environment.
We will have pizza Tuesday and pizza Friday. For those days your child will receive a bottle of water, Gatorade, and 2 or more slices of cheese pizza. The cost of this is $10. Have your child bring money in a sealed envelope with their name on it.
Camp will follow all School District mandates. We will have multiple breaks throughout the day and make sure the kids stay hydrated.
We also have a few spots left so please pass along to friends and family.

Don't forget about our upcoming summer activities! The Booster Club Golf Tournament is this Saturday July 27th at Colonial golf course. We are looking for more teams so reach out to Bobbi Schmitt if you are interested in playing or sponsoring. Also, Schooled in Hoops (Basketball Camp in Tannersville) will be here before you know it August 12th-16th. Make sure you get your kids signed up ASAP. Use the link on the Athletics page or go to www.schooledinhoops.com. Lastly Family ID is now open for Grades 7-12 Fall Sports registration. Make sure you sign up prior to practice so the nurse can approve you to start practice. Practices start August 26th. Stay tuned for individual team practice times and locations! This fall when you enter 7 th grade you will have the opportunity to
participate in many new experiences. One of the first adventures will be the
chance to attend a “Team Building Field Trip” at Camp Chingachgook in Lake
George, NY. The dates of the trip will be October 3rd and 4th , 2024. In
order for the camp to prepare for our arrival we need parents to fill
out the MANDATORY risk waiver and dietary needs forms as soon as possible.
