Congratulations Class of 2030-
This fall when you enter 7 th grade you will have the opportunity to
participate in many new experiences. One of the first adventures will be the
chance to attend a “Team Building Field Trip” at Camp Chingachgook in Lake
George, NY. The dates of the trip will be October 3rd and 4th , 2024. In
order for the camp to prepare for our arrival we need parents to fill
out the MANDATORY risk waiver and dietary needs forms as soon as possible.

the paperwork does not obligate your child to attend if for some reason they
decide not to go. Please contact us if you have any questions.
More information on this once in a lifetime experience will be forthcoming. We

Tomorrow Thursday 6/13, we will be holding our annual Middle School Awards Ceremony to celebrate out 7th and 8th grade students!
Ceremony starts at 1:00 p.m. family and friends are welcome to attend.

Girls on the Run will have a make up session on Friday May 31st during CROP in preparation of our 5K run on Sunday.
Sports News:
Congratulations to the Golf teams Kate Smith and Teagan Mahoney for their performance in Girls Golf Individual Sectionals last week! For their efforts both girls have qualified for the NYSPHSAA Golf State Championship at the Edison Club June 1st-3rd. Teagan qualified 6th shooting a 93 and Kate qualified 1st and shot an amazing 74 to take top medalist in all of Section IV. HTC could not be more proud of these two wonderful young women! Congrats again and good luck in States!
The power at the MS/HS building in Tannersville is currently out, we will be dismissing as scheduled with our 2:30 pickup/walker dismissal as well as our 3:12 bus dismissal. If you have any attendance needs please email Attendancemshs@htcschools.org

The Athletic Department will be holding it's end of the year events in the upcoming weeks to celebrate our student-athletes accomplishments.
On June 5th at 6:00 PM in the Tannersville New Gym we will hold the HTC Athletic Banquet. The event will honor our JV and Varsity Athletes. No invitations will be sent. Light refreshments will be served. Please dress up for the occasion.
On June 10th at 6:00 PM in the Tannersville New Gym we will hold our annual Senior Recognition Night/Brick Dedication. This event will honor our Senior class athletes . Invitations will be sent home with the seniors shortly.
On June 13th we will honor our Modified Athletes during the Middle School Awards ceremony.

Sports News:
Congratulations to the Golf team on their Runner Up performance in yesterday's Section IV Team Golf Sectionals! HTC earned 2nd place out of 12 Class D schools! Leading the way for the Wildcats was Grady Glennon with a 1 over par 73! What a great way for Grady to culminate his high school golf career. The other scoring members of the team were Gideon Glennon with a 79, Kate Smith with an 81, Teagan Mahoney with a 100 and Thomas Houlihan with a 105. Will Schneider rounded out the scoring with a 111. This was a special day as our Girls team members were allowed to play in Boys team sectionals after years of being denied entry. Thanks to Dr. Butera and Sean Mahoney on all their hard work to make this happen. Congratulations to Coach Glennon and the golf team on an awesome season!
