Please be aware that all Middle/High School students will be released early today. Dismissal will begin promptly at 3:00 PM.

THIS DISMISSAL TIME IS ONLY EFFECTING THE MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL BUILDING IN TANNERSVILLE - Hunter Elementary will dismiss regular time.

This early dismissal is necessary because Central Hudson must shut off the building’s power at 3:15 PM so crews can complete repairs to a crushed conduit that was discovered while connecting our permanent generator. This work requires a full power shutdown, and once the electricity is turned off, no one may remain in the building.

If you pick up your student please ensure you do so promptly, as the building must be cleared before the shutdown begins.

If your student is taking the bus home, they will arrive home at their typical drop off time.

Please also note that Athletic Study Hall and after school AIS are canceled for this evening. Coach Dearing has announced the following updates to todays sports schedule:

Boys Varsity - As Scheduled: 5:15 - 7:15 in Tannersville - *Subject to change*
Boys JV Basketball - As Scheduled: 5:15 - 7:15 in Tannersville - *Subject to change*
Girls JV Basketball - **3:45 - 5:15 in HUNTER
Girls Mod Basketball - **3:45 - 5:15 in HUNTER
NO SKI or SNOWBOARDING
Cheerleading - **3:45-5:00 in HUNTER

Boys JV and Varsity - will stay as scheduled in Tannersville as long as the power is restored by 4:45 PM. If the power isn't restored the Boys will practice in the Hunter Elementary Gym from 5:15-7:15 PM. If a change is necessary you will receive another message around 4:45 PM.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
